Due to the continuous power cut, especially on water projects, the Administration provided generators for the water-pumping projects in Hasakah province.

“Ten generators were allocated for al-Jazeera territory by the Ministry, under the supervision of al-Sha’b municipality, to be distributed on water projects in the region,” One of the employees of al-Sha’b municipality in Qamishli told ARA News.

The same source mentioned the importance of water pumps operation to reduce water cut in al-Jazeera (Hasakah province).

“Qamishli city was provided with seven generators, while other cities in the region were provided with three,” the same source added.

A. Ramadan, an employee in al-Hilalya water project in Qamishli, told ARA News: “Generators are still under trial and will be used soon.”

“Generators will massively solve the problem of water cut where Qamishli municipality will be responsible for this work and will provide fuel to operate the generators.”
