Aleppo, Syria – One civilian was reported dead and three others wounded on Wednesday after the pro-Assad military forces bombarded Korin town in the countryside of Idlib, north of Syria, local sources reported.

Speaking to ARA News, Mohammed Salloum, civil rights activist based in the city of Idlib, said that the pro-regime military forces used heavy artillery in bombarding the town of Korin from their bases in al-Mastumeh camp, killing one civilian and wounding three others, including a child.

“The injured were transferred to nearby field hospitals,” Salloum said.

Al-Rami town in the countryside of Idlib was also exposed on Wednesday to shelling by the pro-regime tanks (stationed at al-Joz checkpoint), while the pro-Assad warplanes bombarded the outskirts of the Hamidiya area, south of Idlib, local sources told ARA News.

Meanwhile, a member of the opposition-linked Free Syrian Army (FSA) was killed due to aerial bombardment by the pro-Assad warplanes on the vicinity of the FSA-held Wadi al-Deif Camp in Idlib province.

This comes amid aerial bombardment on the town of Maaret al-Numan in Idlib countryside as well as on the city of Binnish, without recording casualties.
